Milad Khaleghimanesh

Milad Khaleghimanesh was born on March 18, 1987 in Mashhad, Iran. He started working in the field of cinema and editing films and TV programs in 2006, and in 2010 he experienced directing a TV series for the first time in a documentary series called "Deep Breath". Also in 2011, he directed his first documentary film, "One Story and Two Narratives." In the same year, He participated in the training courses of the Iranian Youth Cinema Association and received an advanced cinematography degree. At the same time, in 2010, he passed the entrance exam in the field of computer software engineering at Rajaee University of Tehran with a high rank and received a bachelor's degree in computer software engineering. After making several documentaries and TV series, He joined the production team of the most famous TV documentary in the country, "Shock" Documentary Series, and as a director, he directed different parts of this series. During this time, he edited and directed popular TV programs on most of the country's major television channels. Eventually, he entered producing process and also produced several documentaries. During these years, Milad Khaleghimanesh's films have been screened in various festivals such as “Verite” Film Festival, TV Documentary Festival, FICMA Festival-Mexico, Cinema House Festival, etc. and have won many awards. In 2016 Milad Khaleghimanesh was invited by Orod Zand, the president of the IRDFA (Iranian Documentary Filmmakers Association), to join the IRDFA. In 2017, in the election of this association, he was elected as a member of the board of directors of the IRDFA and started working as the secretary of the board of directors. During this period, at the invitation of Shamim Mostaghimi, the former president of the IRDFA, he was elected as a member of the membership committee of the IRDFA to review and select the members of the IRDFA. After two years in 2019, at the next election of the IRDFA he was elected as the chairman of the board of directors of the IRDFA. And did important activities such as building a comprehensive database of Iranian documentary cinema, holding the "Corona and I" festival in 2020 and signing a memorandum of cooperation with the Municipality of Tehran and the Kiarostami Foundation.
