Deployed in harsh conditions and constant suspicion, many of them deserted and joined the Greek Resistance (ELAS), becoming active fighters against fascism. Through rare archival footage, firsthand testimonies, and historical insight, the documentary challenges the uniform image of the German army and highlights moral resistance from within.
