Beyond The River

Near a Transylvanian village in Central Romania lives a Roma community. A river separates their lives from the rest of the world. Their days are taken up with survival. Beyond the River is a movie set in a small, quiet part of Central Romania, near a village in Transylvania. Here, a community of Roma people live a life that is quite different from others. A river flows nearby, making them feel separated from the rest of the world. The movie shows how the people in this community live each day, focusing on their efforts to get by and support each other. Life here is not easy, and much of their time is spent finding ways to make ends meet and take care of their families. Despite the challenges, the community is full of life and stories of resilience. Through this film, viewers will see the joys and struggles of the Roma community. It shares the powerful stories of how these people face everyday challenges and keep their culture and spirits alive.
