The Peloponnisos Documentary Film Festival, in collaboration with the Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation, presents a program in Dimittsana on November 23rd and 24th that focuses on the intersection of past and present, tradition and innovation, and individual effort within the broader context of society. The films explore themes such as the preservation of traditional skills, the re-examination of pivotal moments in Greek history, navigating the challenges of contemporary society, and the importance of maintaining dignity in the face of adversity. Each film offers a unique perspective on our relationship with the past, present, and future. The setting of the Water Power Museum in Dimittsana strengthens the program's connection to the location and its unique cultural heritage. The festival aims to promote documentary filmmaking as a means of understanding the complexities of human existence and societal evolution, encouraging dialogue and reflection on critical issues.
