The Peloponnisos Documentary Film Festival visits Monemvasia on November 23rd and 24th, presenting a program that highlights the human spirit's capacity for resilience and its pursuit of meaning in the face of challenge. The films explore themes such as religious faith and spiritual searching, confronting abuse and the fight for justice, the relationship between political power and social reality, and coexistence with nature. The narratives presented, hailing from Japan, Turkey, Israel, and Georgia, invite reflection on human nature and the choices we make. The Monemvasia program promises a moving and captivating cinematic experience. Through these films, we will explore humanity's understanding of the world and our place within it, as well as the human capacity to face the challenges of the modern world with courage and dignity.
