The 10th Peloponnisos International Doc Film Festival warmly thanks the Embassy of Norway in Athens, with which it is developing for another year a cordial collaboration, with the art of the big screen as its guiding principle.
Recognizing the potential of documentaries in education and as an alternative form of entertainment for both children and adults, and taking into account that documentaries have been largely inaccessible to certain groups of people with disabilities—particularly those with visual impairments—and that rural areas, except for major cities, often lack alternative educational and cultural programs, we have launched an important digital cultural and educational initiative aimed at the student community and people with disabilities.
Peloponnisos International Doc Film Festival and Athens Palestine Film Festival invite you to a month of Palestinian documentary films.
After 12 days, during which Kalamata and 9 other cities of the Peloponnese were transformed into a cradle of culture and creativity, the 9th Peloponnese International Documentary Festival closed on Sunday, November 5, at the "Thodoros Angelopoulos" Amphitheater, Kalamata Labor Center. During the Closing Ceremony, which included, among other things, the screening of a short documentary, with live musical accompaniment by students, and a Piano Concert by the soloist Lola Tochiou, the Awards were given to the films selected by the Jury.

After the very moving donation and support of Iara Lee in 2021, the recognition of the important work of the festival, promoting acceptance as long as highlighting social and individual inequalities, caused the very substantial sponsorship of the Norwegian, NINA BACKER-RØED, who pointed out a few things:
Seminars for university students, and locals. Making a documentary. Street Cinema School.
Special screenings, round table discussions, book signings.
International Comics Exhibition in collaboration with the Babel Festival team.
Cinema meets the 9th Art. Creating your story and directing the comic book page.
