The Governor of the Peloponnese, Dimitris Ptychous, expresses his excitement for the 10th International Documentary Film Festival of the Peloponnese. He highlights the festival's significance for the region's cultural life and emphasizes the wealth of activities on offer. Additionally, he mentions the festival's expansion to more cities and stresses its contribution to cultivating intellect and exchanging ideas.

 

"It is with great joy and pride that we welcome the 10th Peloponnisos International Doc Film Festival, a significant institution for the cultural life of our region and for the promotion of the art of documentary filmmaking. This year, the festival inspires us with a wealth of films, events, and educational programs that cater to all, emphasizing creativity, information, and empathy.

It is noteworthy that this year's event extends to 14 cities of the Peloponnese, making the festival accessible to even more citizens, while the parallel events, from seminars to book presentations and workshops, contribute substantially to the audience's experience and the cultivation of the spirit. The Peloponnese is emerging as a hub of culture, bringing international and Greek productions to the forefront, while also serving as a source of inspiration for the creation and exchange of ideas.

I warmly congratulate all the contributors for their dedication and passion, who manage to offer us this unique festival every year. We wish that this year's festival will strengthen the bonds of the community, inspire the audience, and continue to be a source of knowledge and creativity for all."
