The Peloponnisos International Documentary Film Festival was founded in 2015 by the Creative Documentary Center of Kalamata. Its main event takes place in Kalamata every year, while a large part of the programme travels to towns and villages across the Peloponnese, from Patras and Amaliada to Gythion and Monemvasia. The network grows every year: in 2025 the festival came to 16 places, and in 2026 we expect even more.
Screenings of Greek and international documentaries are joined by seminars, masterclasses, events, exhibitions and an educational zone for schools. Our aim is to bring documentary cinema to audiences with little access to cinemas and major festivals. Choose a place to see its programme.

It is an intensive project development and pitching workshop for directors, producers, and creative teams developing short or feature-length documentaries, as well as hybrid works. The Lab takes place within the framework of the Peloponnisos International Doc Film Festival on 24-28 November 2026.
