Ouriakos, that little something

In 2006 Nikos Efstratiou, Professor of Pre-historic Archaeology in the University of Thessaloniki, Greece, fell upon an unprecedented discovery: thousands of paleolithic stone tools dispersed over a distant beach of the island of Lemnos. Twelve years later he is our host at the excavation of the University of Thessaloniki on the site and explains the finds, the questions and the problems of the research. He also attempts to portray those groups of hunters and gatherers who spent their summers on that remote wind beaten shore of the Northern Aegean around 10.500 B.C.
